Ports of departure to get to Procida
The island of Procida is the second largest island of the Phlegraean archipelago and can only be reached by sea. All year round it is always possible to do it both from the two main piers of the port of Naples, from the port of Pozzuoli and from the island of Ischia. During the tourist season you can also get there from Sorrento, Salerno, the Amalfi Coast and Capri.
Naples – Procida sea transport
From Naples we have the Caremar and Snav hydrofoils which depart from the Molo Beverello terminal and reach the port of Procida called Marina Grande in thirty – forty minutes; or also the Caremar ferries which take exactly one hour. Pozzuoli – Procida sea transport
From the port of Pozzuoli the Caremar, Medmar and Gestour ferries take from twenty-five to forty minutes, while the only hydrofoil ride departing from the Puteolana sea station reaches its destination in just twenty minutes. Ischia – Procida sea transport
From Ischia Porto you can go to Procida both with fast boats and with the ships of the Caremar fleet, while from the port of Casamicciola the latter company offers only ferries (the duration of navigation is half an hour) and the Snav hydrofoils (which sail the route in a quarter of an hour). During the summer season, the Alilauro Gruson hydrofoils connect Sorrento to the island of Procida, while the Alicost ones reach the Italian Capital of Culture 2022 also from Ischia, Capri, Amalfi and Positano, Salerno.
