Limitation of the influx of motor vehicles on the island of Linosa
From 1 June 2023 to 31 October 2023, on the island of Linosa, the entry and circulation of motor vehicles belonging to persons who are not part of the population permanently resident in the Municipality of Lampedusa and Linosa are prohibited.

Exemptions
The following vehicles are excluded from the ban:
a) vehicles carrying people with disabilities, as long as they have the appropriate mark provided for by art. 81 of the decree of the President of the Republic of 16 December 1992, n. 495 and subsequent amendments and additions, issued by a competent Italian or foreign authority;
b) vehicles of public bodies involved in police, health and public interest services;
c) vehicles used for the installation and maintenance of systems and services for the community, as well as those used for food and water supply;
d) vehicles authorized for particular reasons with a provision of the mayor of Lampedusa and Linosa, adopted with the consent of the prefect of Agrigento.
Authorizations
The Municipality of Lampedusa and Linosa is granted the right, in the event of a clear and real need and urgency, to grant further exceptions to the ban on landing on the island.
Implementation and supervision
The prefect of Agrigento is in charge of the execution and of the assiduous and systematic surveillance of compliance with the established prohibitions with this decree, for the entire period considered.
