The main port of Milos is located in Adamantas (or Adamas), in the center of the island. Ferries arrive here from Piraeus and other Cycladic islands, especially from Santorini.
Adamantas is also one of the best equipped tourist centres. In the vicinity of the port there are bars, taverns, supermarkets, souvenir shops and hotels.
The airport is not far away. About 5 kilometers divide the two airports, easily passable both by public transport and by taxi (the best solution).
The port is easily accessible from both Plaka (4.5 km) and Pollonia (about 10 km), which, with Adamas, are the other two main tourist resorts on the island.
Milos Island National Airport is located 5 kilometers south of the port of Adamantas
Near the port of Adamas there are bars, taverns, supermarkets, souvenir shops and hotels.
