Located a few meters from the central Via Tasso, the port of Marina Piccola is one of the most important ports in Campania. Despite its small size, the number of passengers is impressive. The reason is the proximity of Sorrento to Naples, Capri, Ischia and, of course, to the other pearls of the Amalfi Coast, especially Positano and Amalfi.
While the maritime connections are guaranteed all year round with Naples and Capri, those with Ischia, Amalfi and Positano are active only from Easter to the end of October. Hydrofoils take 40 to 45 minutes to reach Naples; 20 minutes to Capri (25 minutes by fast ferry). To Positano, Amalfi and Ischia by hydrofoil it takes about 60 minutes, although there may be intermediate stops for Positano and Amalfi.
Special mention for the marina. Boats that decide to moor in Marina Piccola can count on a series of cutting-edge services: mooring and unmooring assistance; mechanical and electromechanical assistance; water supply; refueling; food supply; surveillance and so on.
