Ventouris Ferries is a Greek shipping company founded in 1976. It began its connections with lines inside the Aegean Sea, to continue, starting from 1984, with lines from Italy to Albania and Greece. It connects Bari, Durres, Corfu, Igoumenitsa, Sami (Kefalonia) and Zakynthos.
The ships of the Ventouris Ferries company are famous for their speed, comfort and safety. The fleet consists of 5 units:
ITALY-ALBANIA
Children from 4 to 12 years enjoy a 50% discount on the rates indicated (both for the outward and return journeys).
Children up to 4 years of age who do not occupy a bed or armchair travel for free (they only pay port taxes, equal to € 15.00).
The ships have special boxes for the transport of pets. It is necessary to book in advance given the limited number of boxes. The company does not accept unaccompanied animals. The owners or caretakers of these animals must be in possession of the relative health card (EU citizens are also required to have the animal's passport) and they must comply with all entry procedures. All cats, dogs and ferrets must travel with the rabies vaccination document.
Pets are not allowed in the internal areas of the ships (bars, restaurants and other public spaces) or in vehicles and their access to the garage is prohibited during the voyage. For walks in the outdoor areas animals must be led with a muzzle and leash and accompanied by the owner or keeper.
Animals that accompany and protect people with special needs are excluded from the aforementioned limits; they can accompany their owners inside the ships. The latter must have the relevant certificate for these animals.
Bicycles can be boarded for free.
All ferries have paid Wi-Fi service available in the passenger areas. Contact the reception to activate the service.
On Ventouris Ferries ships you will find à la carte and self-service restaurants with a wide choice of dishes. There are also bars offering a wide variety of coffees, juices, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and sweets.
REFUNDS ITALY-GREECE
Cancellations can be made at the travel agency where the booking and payment was made, the port agency or from the company's offices. According to the moment in which the cancellation occurs, the following refunds are provided (excluding the case of special offers):
The company has no obligation to reimburse if the cancellation occurs less than 24 hours before the departure of the ship or if the passenger has not completed the check-in operations. Passengers have the right to convert their ticket for an OPEN ticket, valid for one year from the date of issue. If this ticket is canceled, the new booking date is considered the cancellation date and the refund will be calculated based on the original travel date.
In the event of partial cancellation of a round trip for which one of the sections has already been completed, the passenger will be charged the fare corresponding to a one-way journey and he will be reimbursed according to the above conditions for the remaining part of the outward/return journey. In case of total cancellation of a round trip, the passenger will be reimbursed according to the above conditions (the date of cancellation will prevail).
NB: Any request for reimbursement must be submitted in writing and the actual reimbursement will take place within three months from the date of the last trip. Cancellations and refunds are carried out exclusively at the travel agency that issued the ticket, the port agent or the offices of the Company. Port agencies can cancel a reservation after the check-in procedure has been completed but cannot refund.

When the passenger in possession of a ticket issued with a defined departure date communicates that he cannot travel, the following refund percentages will be applied:
