Located a few nautical miles from the Argentario promontory and Giglio, the island of Giannutri is the southernmost of the islands of the Tuscan archipelago. Connected all year round with Porto Santo Stefano, the number of routes increases with the approach of the summer season, when the island is reached (by ferry or private boats) by both Italian and foreign tourists.
Giannutri is a limestone island, and is characterized by dense vegetation, rocky coasts and numerous caves and inlets (the main ones are Cala dello Spalmatoio and Cala Maestra , with its pebble beaches ). The island is the ideal destination for lovers of greenery and above all for hikers: despite its small size (just 2.6 km 2), Giannutri is full of paths, which will lead you to the most remote and suggestive places of the Island.
