The port of Kasos, in the coastal village of Fri, is connected by ferries to the nearby island of Karpathos, thanks to various shipping companies, and to the port of Piraeus (Athens). The island stages of the route that is traced starting from the capital of Greece are, in order, Milos, Santorini, Anafi, Crete, exactly Kasos, Karpathos, Halki and Rhodes. On the way back, the same intermediate stops are made in reverse order.
To reach the port the means of transport available on the island can be used: a municipal minibus, taxis or scooters and rental cars.
As soon as you land, you are just a few steps from the town of Fri, on whose seafront there are bars, restaurants, a pizzeria and a car or scooter rental agency.
From Fri you can go by boat, thanks to a taxi-boat service, on the beaches of Kasos accessible only, or more easily, by sea and on the neighboring islets. Also worth seeing is the small fishing port of Emporios, not far from the ferry dock of the main port.
