The port of Rodi Garganico is located in the northern part of the Gargano promontory, a few kilometers from the lakes of Varano and Lèsina.
Protected by an elbow-shaped rampart, the port area is characterized by the presence of some piers intended to accommodate pleasure boats and a pier from where the hydrofoils leave for the Tremiti Islands (San Nicola).
The connections are generally guaranteed by the NLG company during the summer period.

Foggia and Rodi Garganico are connected thanks to the buses of the Ferrovie del Gargano.
The closest airport to Rodi Garganico is that of Bari. From the Bari-Karol Wojtyla airport it is possible to reach Rodi Garganico and the neighboring towns using the Pugliairbus service (active until 1 November 2020).
Alternatively, you will have the opportunity to rent a car at the arrivals area.
Do not be fooled by its small size: Rodi Garganico is in fact a city that will offer you a lot, and not only from a seaside point of view. Inhabited since ancient times, the town of Foggia has numerous monuments on its territory.
One of the most significant buildings in Rodi Garganico is undoubtedly the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Libera. It is a real treasure chest: inside what was once an abbey are in fact kept, among other things, the fifteenth-century painting depicting the Virgin and the Sacred Stone on which it rested.
Other notable places of worship are the church of San Nicola (known for its characteristic bell tower with an oriental-Gothic dome ), the church of the Santissimo Crocifisso, the church of San Pietro and the church of Santa Barbara. A few kilometers from the town, moreover, is the church of the Holy Spirit, which is part of the Capuchin Convent.
