Near the port of Terracina there are several bathing establishments and countless catering activities (bars, restaurants, pastry shops, ice cream parlors, sandwich shops, etc.).
The seafront of Terracina offers everything that is to be expected from a modern tourist resort : bathing establishments; bar; restaurants; kiosks; shops and so on. It is the upper part , however, that gives the most emotions. A little more than a kilometer from the port are concentrated, practically close to each other, almost all the main attractions of the city. En passant we point out the Roman Forum, the Cathedral of San Cesareo and the Church of Purgatory. Separate mention for the Temple of Jupiter Anxur which dominates the city and from which you can see a beautiful panorama.
Returning near the port, it is worth visiting Vicolo Rappini, a wonderful example of a seaside village. Finally, do not miss the Feast of the Madonna del Carmine which, on July 16 , sees the fishing boats stationed in the port engaged in an evocative procession by sea. In the end, the fireworks display on the water is not to be missed.
