With a fleet of 32 hydrofoils and over 600 employees Liberty Lines (formerly Ustica Lines) is a leading company in fast maritime transport for passengers. It all started thanks to the Neapolitan shipowner Vittorio Morace who, in 1993, inaugurated the first Naples-Ustica-Favignana-Trapani and Trapani-Pantelleria-Kelibia connections, following his vision, gained through years of experience in the maritime sector, to unite the lands overlooking the Mediterranean through a network of fast connections. Year after year, acquisition after acquisition, the routes have progressively increased up to today's result of a network of connections that goes from the Tyrrhenian to the Adriatic, from Sicily to Greece to the Istrian coast.
Liberty Lines has a large fleet, consisting of 32 fast vessels: hydrofoils, catamarans and monohulls, capable of connecting various destinations: Egadi Islands, Aeolian Islands, Pelagie Islands, Pantelleria, Ustica and some Greek Islands.
For the Liberty Lines company, children from 0 to 3 years are free, infants from 0/11 months (they do not occupy a seat and must be held in the arms for the duration of the trip), from 1/3 years they occupy a seat, we invite you to communicate the presence of infants at the time of booking, for the issuance of the regular travel document. Children from 4 to 11 years old will have a reduction on the fare, net of taxes and surcharges (if applicable).
The Liberty Lines fleet does not have any holds for the accommodation of animals, however their transport is permitted by purchasing a regular "PET" ticket. Small pets must travel in a special carrier (not provided by the company) and guarded for the duration of the crossing. Medium/Large sized animals must be equipped with a muzzle and leash. The company reserves the right, during the boarding phase, to ask for the animal's health certification and vaccination booklet. Those listed above are mandatory requirements, in the absence boarding will be denied.
Each passenger can check one piece of hand luggage up to 10 kg free of charge; for children who pay half the fare up to 5 kg. The dimensions of hand luggage must be: 60x40x20. Baggage exceeding the previously indicated sizes must be specified at the time of booking and purchased at the relative rate.
With Liberty Lines hydrofoils it is not possible to board bicycles, unicycles or similar, with the exception of articulated bicycles (resealable/foldable) , for which the payment of the ticket is required, in any case they can travel without a battery (if applicable) and stored in a special safety case.

All Liberty Lines naval units offer bar service on board.
CANCELLATION penalties
Time before departure and penalty:
- more than of 24 hours: 10%;
- plus 30 minutes: 25%;
- less than 30 minutes: 100%.
Booking fees are never refundable.
CHANGE costs
Time before departure and cost:
- plus of 24 hours: 5% net spent;
- plus of 2 hours: 12% net spent;
- less than 2 hours: no change.
To these change costs must be added any fare differences and change rights equal to €2 per route.</p >
